Founded in 2007, HRD has built a solid reputation for outstanding service in the hospitality industry. The HRD team is a compilation of talented and friendly professionals who bring creativity and efficiency to the forefront for successful collaborations with their clients.
Richard Budnik is the founder and owner of Hospitality Resources and Design and brings over 25 years of hospitality experience in FF&E procurement, operations, sales and business development to the company. As President, Richard is responsible for the sales and principal level management of all projects. Prior to establishing HRD in 2007, Richard was a primary partner in Mid-Florida Textiles incorporated in 1991 and Hospitality Design Solutions, created in 1994 where he was responsible for sales, business development and management of the company.
Sarah joined HRD in 2013 after nine years as a consulting CFO for small and mid-size companies. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with an undergraduate degree in Accounting and a Masters in Business Administration. She is a FL licensed CPA with a background in public accounting. Sarah enjoys being involved in all aspects of the business from daily operations to strategic planning and financial management.

With more than 26 years in sales & marketing, design and project management, Cam's exceptionally creative and practical approach to interior design is a valuable tool when communicating with both clients and trades. A licensed Building Contractor, her experience taking projects from conception to completion is well received and respected. Coupled with a successful history in cutting edge kitchen and bath design, her hospitality and commercial experience includes work in the timeshare, hotel and restaurant industries. Cam earned her B.A. from the University of South Florida.
Michelle has worked with Hospitality Resources & Design since the inception of the company. She has extensive experience in the hospitality industry and an amazing attention to detail. Michelle works closely with Vendors and Designers to ensure product is ordered accurately and delivered on time.
Melinda is a highly skilled interior designer with a passion for creating beautiful and functional spaces. She graduated with a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in Interior Design from Seminole State College in Orlando, FL. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her membership in the American Society of Interior Designers (ASID), her certification as an NCIDQ Certified Interior Designer, and she is licensed in Florida and Tennessee.
Melinda has a diverse range of experience in the field of interior design, including custom upholstery and high-end residential design. Her attention to detail, creativity, and ability to work closely with clients has earned her a reputation as a talented and reliable designer. Since January 2020, Melinda has been working with Hospitality Resources & Design, where she has been able to utilize her skills and experience to create beautiful and functional spaces for her clients. With her education, certifications, and experience, Melinda is well-equipped to tackle any interior design project with professionalism and expertise.

Pam joined HRD in April 2023. As a seasoned commercial interior designer, her experience lies in envisioning and presenting innovative conceptual and schematic designs tailored for hotel renovations, restaurants, tenant buildouts and healthcare. Pam recognizes the importance of details, project managment and administration. She's worked on projects with major hotel brands, boutique hotesls, skilled nursing and assited living facilities.
Pam has been a licensed interior designer in the state of Florida since 1991. She has Bachelor of Science in Visual Arts, Interior Design from Florida State University.
Sofia became a valuable member of HRD when she joined us as an intern in May 2022. Her remarkable potential and strong work ethic quickly caught our attention, leading to her official hire as an Assistant Designer just a month later. Since then, Sofia has been on an impressive trajectory of professional growth within our team.
As an Assistant Designer, Sofia has embraced the opportunity to immerse herself in every facet of our operations. Her eagerness to learn has allowed her to gain valuable experience across all areas, including design, purchasing, project management, and installation. This hands-on exposure has not only contributed to her skill set expansion but has also provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in the entire design process. We're excited to witness Sofia's continued development and anticipate her making even greater contributions to HRD in the future.
Jessica seamlessly integrated into the HRD team as an intern in January 2023, and her exceptional skills and creativity propelled her into the role of Assistant Designer by April of the same year. With an incredible knack for technology, Jessica excels in various aspects of design, particularly digital renderings. Her artistic prowess and technological finesse make her a valuable asset to HRD, contributing to the team's innovative approach to design. Jessica is not only highly skilled but also consistently brimming with creative ideas, infusing every project with her unique and forward-thinking design concepts.
